what to expect during a shoot

Providing a luxury wedding photography experience that you’ll never forget.

Calm collaboration tailored to meet your needs. We’ll communicate along the way about what your expectations are and which moments and images are most important to you. I’ll use the information you’ve given me as I hang back and document your day in a photo-journalistic style. You will receive the encouragement you’ll want to feel your most confident and have fun while feeling your best. You’ll walk away feeling more connected than when you came.

Communication is KEY. I guide you through your communication journey and am there for you every step of the way. Email is my best form of communication.
Using your vision, I’ll guide you on what to do and expect from location, lighting, posing, and beyond. You won’t have to wonder what to do in front of the camera because of the guidance I support you with during your photo experience.
A bonus of working with me is that I’m quick on my feet. One of my biggest strengths is knowing when to step in and take charge when needed so that you can enjoy your day to the fullest. If it rains or something unexpected happens, I’m already mapping out creative ways to document what you need.
Galleries take 6-8 weeks to be completed and delivered to you in a high resolution online gallery. I take my time selecting the best images and editing them after years of fine tuning these skills.

Looking back at my own wedding day, I not only dislike our photos, but all I remember is the stress of it all. I distinctly remember feeling awkward in front of the camera and disconnected from our photographer. It was uncomfortable and our portraits ended up feeling and looking so posed and unlike us. This experience taught me several things: connection to my clients above all else, educating my clients throughout the process, and telling your story authentically.
